Open Access Policy

Trends in Intellectual Property Research is a fully open access journal dedicated to the free and unrestricted dissemination of scholarly knowledge. The journal operates on the principle that open access enhances global knowledge exchange and strengthens the development of legal scholarship. All content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.  All articles are made immediately available upon publication without any embargo period or subscription requirements. Readers worldwide may freely access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles without any registration or financial barriers or asking prior permission from the publisher or the author..

Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published version (publisher’s PDF) of their work in institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, personal websites, or academic networking platforms immediately after publication. When doing so, authors should provide proper attribution by including a link to the original article on the journal’s website along with the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). This open access approach maximizes the visibility, accessibility, and citation potential of published research while aligning with leading international open access standards and best practices.
