Copyright and Licensing Policy
Trends in Intellectual Property Research adopts an author-centric copyright policy that ensures maximum dissemination while preserving authors’ rights. Authors retain full copyright in their work without restriction. By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication. Simultaneously, all published content is made available under an open license, allowing broad access and reuse while safeguarding author attribution.
Authors are free to:
- Share the published version of their work in any medium or format;
- Enter into additional non-exclusive agreements for distribution (e.g., inclusion in books, theses, or repositories);
- Reuse their work in future scholarly publications, teaching, or research activities.
No transfer of copyright to the journal or publisher is required at any stage of the publication process.
